Diary of a Contract Killer

An unconventional love story between trained killers.

I created this ‘universe’ after first considering ‘Diary of a Serial Killer,’ but decided that’d mean writing torture porn, and I wasn’t sure there’d be a market. Plus, I was sure I didn’t want my mom to read any!

The main character, Seacay (his in-universe pseudonym), is an ex-special forces guy who loves hunting the ultimate game: humans. Of course, in most cases, his ‘prey’ has no idea they’re being hunted, sometimes not even when they’re taken out. He’s a womanizing loner who spends his money and free time building a secure mansion in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

Then he meets the incredibly intelligent Isabel, a former sex lure intelligence agent. She and her team, a gay couple - because they don’t have any interest in her physically - are charged with hands-off protection of an asset. Seacay is charged with protectively kidnapping this same asset (government agencies are the same the world over, often the right hand doesn’t even know the left hand exists) and has to neutralize Isabel and her team. When Isabel immediately responds to her capture demonstrating her intelligence, Seacay finds himself struggling to maintain the celibacy he requires of himself when on a job.

I’ve already written 3 novels and a series of short stories in this universe and have notes for a fourth novel and several more short stories along with a novella. My intent is to post a chapter at a time, about once a week. Since the novels are very eposodic, it’ll generally not be necessary to have read all the prior writing. Strongly connected stories will have their sections outlined, and I’m going to try and put a small synopsis of the previous chapter, where I think that’ll help.
